By day, I’ve worked in construction and fire protection – high stress, big responsibilities. But real joy? That’s when the grill sizzles, a Barolo breathes, and friends gather around the table.

My love for wine didn’t happen overnight – it’s been growing for years. From family dinners to tastings, travels, and a good friend who’s a sommelier. I even took his intro courses – not to be a pro, but to understand the magic in every glass.

Who am I? Well, let’s keep it simple. I’m Fabio, born in 1993 – still young enough to call myself young! I’m Italian (yes, I love PASTA), but I was born and raised in Switzerland. I’ve been in the tech world for over 15 years, working in IT and chasing new tech stuff and all the gadgets that exist. I’m a true believer in crypto, and yes, I hold some NFTs – some made me money, some didn’t.
That’s the game.

Outside of tech, I’m into:

Gaming: Rocket League and Forza.

Cars: Big Porsche fanboy.

Sports: Formula 1 all the way.

So how did wine sneak into my life?

Funny story – I used to hate the smell of red wine. Every time my dad opened a bottle, I asked him to keep it far, far away. But at 18, I started sipping white wine. Fruity, fresh, smooth – it was a game changer. Then I joined a wine tasting workshop hosted by a good friend (he’s a sommelier, and you’ll definitely see him featured in our tastings and newsletters). That’s when the magic happened. I began to understand the beauty and diversity of wine. And from there, it was all try and error – some bottles I loved, others… not so much.

Am I a pro? Nope. Is that a problem? Absolutely not.
